Winter Spa Goals
A few years ago, my husband and I started our own tradition of visiting a spa shortly before Christmas.
Since that first time, it has become a bit of a dream of mine to have a hot tub spa right outside my abode that could be slipped into and enjoyed whenever the mood struck.
Lofty goals, I know, but if you have ever experienced an outdoor hot tub on a cold and dark winter evening and felt swirling snowflakes melt on your nose without feeling the least bit uncomfortable or cold, then you'll understand why I remember that special spa visit every year about this time.
Perhaps one day, it will happen.
It's Purely for Therapeutic Reasons
As luxurious as it sounds, there is some therapy involved. A half an hour (or more) in a warm and bubbly hot tub leaves you relaxed and refreshed. It might even be the best stress reliever I can imagine – especially about this time of year where holiday preparations cause stress levels to rise. How about you? What do you do to relax and stay calm during a stressful season?
PS: Here's a link to how this tradition got started in the first place.
