Winter Spa Goals

A few years ago, my husband and I started our own tradition of visiting a spa shortly before Christmas.

Since that first time, it has become a bit of a dream of mine to have a hot tub spa right outside my abode that could be slipped into and enjoyed whenever the mood struck.

Lofty goals, I know, but if you have ever experienced an outdoor hot tub on a cold and dark winter evening and felt swirling snowflakes melt on your nose without feeling the least bit uncomfortable or cold, then you'll understand why I remember that special spa visit every year about this time.

We're still working on that goal, but meantime, pictured above is a peek at where my mind is right about now.

Perhaps one day, it will happen.

It's Purely for Therapeutic Reasons

As luxurious as it sounds, there is some therapy involved. A half an hour (or more) in a warm and bubbly hot tub leaves you relaxed and refreshed. It might even be the best stress reliever I can imagine – especially about this time of year where holiday preparations cause stress levels to rise.

How about you?  What do you do to relax and stay calm during a stressful season?

PS: Here's a link to how this tradition got started in the first place

Lise that sounds just delightful. At the moment, my funds can only stretch to a blow up kids pool on the grass but at least I'll be surrounded by my sheep & ducks! 🤣
