Whipped Chocolate Facial Cleansing
Louise kickstarted this. She happened to ask me about making a ready-to-use cleanser/mask product that didn't have to be made fresh with each use.
My mind immediately drifted back several years to a series of attempts that never made it out of the lab. The only answer I could give her was that I had worked on something similar forever ago but had dropped it again.
But that was then – when innocence and sweetness abounded, pollution didn't exist (yet), and the airless container was still an idea in the back of someones mind. (yeah, that long ago).
Fast Forward to Present
Revisiting playing around with clays in a mask-cleanser-keep-in-a-jar kind of way presented the perfect opportunity to give this newly-aquired dark cocoa butter a whirl. I paired it with red clay (great for distressed, tired skin) and got to work.
Think melt-in moisturizing and soap-free cleansing in one sweet concoction.
Think decadence.
Think chocolate.
Think whipped chocolate.
Like this.
Pictured is batch 1 of this mask/cleanser that is at present taking the place of my regular cleansing bars.
It goes on just like it looks – smoothly.
It cleanses beautifully and leaves the skin silky soft and moisturized.
It functions both as a cleanse-and-go product or as a leave-on mask for extra moisturizing.
It smells sinfully delicious.
It feels sinfully delicious.
It is sinfully delicious.
LOVE!
This was just intended to be a bit of an experiment, but if this whipped chocolate mousse continues to perform well, it will be making its way into the hands (and on the faces) of some of my regular testers.

I'll try to take pictures of my Cleansing bars and will send you an e-mail with my version of cleansing bars. Mine was tweaked as my country is very warm and it need to stay solid.
